ive seen xp go into a reboot circle before...
theres a setting in the control panel that you can turn off the option to reboot on a critical error. if its on and windows doesnt recover from it when it reboots, it will keep cycling a reboot. try safe mode and do a system restore to a previous date. also, that computer doesnt say its gonna reboot in 60 seconds does it? that could be sasser or blaster.

also, i sent a computer into a reboot circle once when i manually removed 2 virus executables from someones machine and it wouldnt boot back up after that, it would start to then reboot.
