8026 was correct, if you recall this most recent patch was released within four days of the knowledge of the vulnerability becoming known. It's not MS fault (this time) because the public (hackers)got the info before anyone had the time to secure a patch.
Yes they do wait on their updates but when the flaw is that critical I have yet to see them wait on the patch release. Maybe you think some they wait on are more critical than the reality of it, I dunno, what I do know is all our Win machines seem to have been protected just for having AU enabled.
