So, you pretty much claim that it is the SAME unsophisticated windows code they are still using in their 'modern' NT (!) OS?

I would not disagree since this is pittifully correct. But you need to grasp that it is as if you are trying to justify a car company which sells steam engined cars as 'modern technolgy'
