How do we really know?

How do we really, absolutely know that somehow the big AntiVirus companies don't encourage, fund and otherwise support (clandestinely, of course) the Virus and Spyware generating bastards. The money involved is as big as that transacted by South American drug lords; and no one has ever been able to stop that!

If Symantec and MacCaffee or Trend need to boost sales, there is no better way to promote their product then to have critical need for it.

Have they all opened their books for Federal Audit? Where does all the advertising and promo and other expense money go? Are stockholders generating worms and benefiting? Okay Big 3, convince me you are legit. I'll listen.
