I've had 1 OSX freezup in the last year.
I'm using Mac OSX 10.3.9 on a four year old Dual G4. I'm
running 3 internal hard drives, a super drive a firewire hard
drive, a firewire CD writer, two scanners, sound system, Laser
printer and an ink jet printer. I typically run 10+ applications at
once including heavy graphics apps. Sometimes I open 200+
Photoshop files at the same time. I've had only one freezup in
over a year, and it was probably a year before that I had the
previous freeze.Mac OS9 freezes about as often as XP or 2000.
OSX NEVER freezes up. I've worked with PCs. For many things
they do fine, especially if they are used for limited types of work,
but a Mac can take a beating and keep on ticking,. that's a fact
Jack.
