worth it IMHO
After getting another expensive item stolen, I've installed anti-theft software on my own laptop. Yeah, it traces my laptop, but with all the theft going on, it's worth it.

I've also added the STOP plate to prevent it from being sellable, and to give good samaritans a way to get it back to me.

I hope both products go unused, but you never know, stuff gets stolen all the time.
