They posted the severe vulnerabiity announcements
along with the patches which is good.

Why wouldn't they WARN people of the defects and provide workarounds to at least help users NOT to fall prey of the creeps who knew how to compromise the PCs? So many people asked but how is drive-by install possible? And then here it is: it was possible and MS never warned people about it.

Why would you go out of your way to defend a company with so deeply defective products, simply defies logic and can possibly aswered by pshychologists.

Other s/w has defect too, but NOTHING has reached the bottom quality of the MS's s/w. You may think that's acceptable, much like people in 3rd world countries think that dysenteria and malaria is a common part of daily living. You would know better, wouldn't you?
