You're really close, but just not getting it
No, Microsoft didn't invent the internet (neither did any *nix creator, either). Look at it the other way: Microsoft brought people to the internet. In theory, without Microsoft, you would have an internet that existed on military bases and college campuses. How many people are going to run BSD at home? You have to take the good with the bad, and I'll bet most people agree that there is far more god than bad.

Damn, there I go again using logic on the illogical...
