Who loses?
I thought I agreed with you completely, but scanning the article
again, I guess I'm not clear on just who loses, customer or bank.

First, they say "estimates that 3 million Americans have lost an
average of more than $900 each due to online scams over the
past year"--but a couple of paragraphs later, the same
consultant says "Banks, as a result, have it within their control to
minimize their losses."

It was my impression that credit cards gave users protection
against theft/fraud but ATM/debit cards did not, so the second
comment puzzles me. Insights, anyone?
