A flaw.. But how serious?

I agree. I also notice that the security flaw doesn?t seem to have resulted in major crashes from what I see on the Web (see http://www.packetizer.com/news/20040113.html) ?..the impact is mitigated by the fact that most VoIP systems are operated on private networks that are out of reach from most hackers? ... or maybe vendors are keeping more quiet than usual. It also isn't fair to presuppose that MS ?should have known? - Bill Gates and Co. do a tremendous job of acting quickly when flaws like this are discovered and protecting the customers.
