Even if it is foolish to "confess" he does address a real problem

Ok I realize that a lot of you will say that he is a fool for confesing is hacking "sins" to the world. However he really does address a valid problem in his presentation. I know of a number of folks out there who have been using similar hacks to gain access to free movies and even hotel records for years!! This is not new material, but it may be one of the first times that it was openly presented to a large audience. Hotel billing and entertainment delivery systems are totally insecure and need to be looked at by security pros. By openly discussing the vulnerabilities he is putting pressure on companies like OnCommand and others who develop hotel TV/IT systems to make their productsmore secure. I applaud his barvery to stand up and talk about what kind of vulnerabilities he has found... I know I wouldn't have been the one to open myself up to potential litigation from hotels by admitting that I hacked their systems.
