FUD...
Never, ever obtain executable software over a P2P client! You might as well paint "please take control of my computer" on your forehead.

Now come on... If you've got a good AV scanner installed, up to date AND running, then what's the big deal?

Secondly... A little common sense will go a LONG way. Usually a virus claiming to be a game or other app is going to be a fairly small download. I'd say less than 10 MB.

A game like GTA SA is going to be HUGE. GTA SA can be gotten on at a few CDs or one DVD. That's 2 - 4 GB.

ANY fool who thinks they can download <10 MB worth of stuff from a P2P site AND have a COMPLETE game the size of GTA SA deserves to get infected.

Now, if it's advertising a "CRACK" for said GTA SA, then that's another story. Cracks aren't going to be nearly as large.
