Oh yea, Security through obscurity. Ever hear of that one? It's a stupid way to run things. Cisco fixed it in Ausust but didn't bother to tell anyone about it. "Upgrade your software, trust me" is not the way to communicate with ISP's and your customers.
First of all, Lynn isn't the one who discovered it. It was posted all over China web sites. He translated it from Chinese/. If you were at Black Hat or Defcon you might have got the full story.
