Lynn is definitely malafide
I am surprised that anyone would rise to the defense of Mr.Lynn. He disclosed the flaw in the most unprofessional and irresponsible manner. Well, on second thought, the irresponsible and unethical hacker community WOULD love him. And I guess, that's the category that most of the posters here fall under. daniel4847 is right that even a non-profit open source group would have had a similar reponse to anyone who discloses a security exploit in this manner.
