The issue
Is that even though a fix has been applied, have all the users of Cisco equipment upgraded ALL their routers AND switches?

How about if the critical info that someone needed that they didn't receive affected someone you know? like maybe data needed by a doctor in treating an Emergency Room patient?

Believe it or not, there's some pretty f$*king important data carried over networks nowadays, and large outages CAN cost people's lives.

Do you have any idea how many hospitals use Cisco equipment? The Internet isn't just a big sandbox anymore, either, like it was 15-20 years ago.

Your lack of ability to understand the big picture is either laughable or scary, I haven't quite figured out which yet.
