You must live in the 90's. I seriously doubt Lynn did what he did for malicious purposes.
When a flaw in Windows is announced to the world, is it done with malicious intent?
I doubt it. People have the right to know about these things.
Would it have been better for him to tell a reporter? He only told the people at the conference. Someone needed to know. Besides, by the time he gave his presentation, a fix had been applied. Don't see a really big deal here.
