Cisco certification
Isn't it time that we developed an independent network certification that wasn't tied to a specific hardware or software supplier?

What you ask for has already been developed. Its the Network+ (N+) certification by CompTIA. They have several certs that are vendor neutral but the problem is no one gives these certs any recognition.
