The nice thing about Cisco's actions is it insures that in the future, when such an explout is found, it will only be shared between hackers on IRC channels where it belongs, and the public won't have to know how insecure their routers are.

Really, with this kind of thing, until the flaw is fixed, you're just playing wack a mole. Make guys like Lynn be quiet, and you'll just have hordes of guys with the same ability sit down and quietly hack the NYSE or military computer systems.

Yeah, that's MUCH better.
