Has anyone looked at OSS?
I'm using ClamAV and Clamscan (http://www.clamav.net/) on my Linux server, ClamAV and ClamWin (http://www.bransoft.com/clammail/clammail.html) on my Windows laptop.

I've dumped Symantec after years of patronage because they are simply too slow and too expensive for a SOHO like mine.

ClamAV self-reports that they are among the first to recognize new threats and implement countermeasures. So, is that true?

Or do the "big-wigs" in the IS world continue to ignore OSS solutions like ClamAV because they represent cuts in either revenue or budget?
