The best defense against spyware is avoiding Windows
I'm always being asked by people how to remain safe online. My
advice is simple: Never type anything into a Windows computer
that you wouldn't post on a bulletin board on a public street. In
other words, never do any online banking or purchasing on a
Windows computer.

A home computer user that isn't a Windows security expert, or isn't
prepared to become one, should never use a Windows computer. If
you want security, buy a Mac.
