- The Netscape Flaw and Dilema

Here is Netscape's problem in action:
A patch is needed for Firefox ..... wait for Firefox to patch, then patch THEIR trunk ... check to make sure Firefox patch did not break something in the Netscape interface.
At the same time, a patch is needed for IE ... wait for IE to patch .... check to make sure IE patch did not break something in the Netscape interface.
... or that the Firefox patch did not break something in the IE interface or visa-versa.
Test the whole Netscape kludge to make sure it still works. Wait for the whole thing to start again!
Netscape will ALWAYS be eons behind the regular browsers that they have combined simply because they HAVE to wait until THEY have patched, first ... before they can do ANYTHING! God help it to be an extremely critical patch that is needed!!!!!
