But that doesn't mean I don't see how the world works. Just as people extrapolate Microsoft's future actions based on its past actions, so can we extrapolate the world's (or a country's) position based on its past actions. When a country is on record as being officially anti-American, it's easy to assume every action is motivated by anti-Americanism.
