Sounds almost like you just woke up...
or maybe you're some kind of hermit. I've been hooked up the internet for some time, and since it's gone public everyone and their grandmother has released "bug fixes". There's no single piece of software ever that was 100% on day 1. If you don't want to deal with that, turn off your PC, unplug it, put it in sturdy box, close the box up, and sell it to the neighbor. As far as the comment (FUD) about MS charging for bug fixes...where? Gimme the website, please. Plus, the nonsense of having to actually pay for services like antivirus...what are you, a communist? Maybe you would like everyone to work for free? Just start with yourself and fire yourself from your job and see how that *somehow* magically is going to put food on your table. Imagine the folks at Norton and Panda actually wanting money for their work...wow, it works just like in a free economy...you want something, you pay for it... ????
Please refrain from making such nonsense statements in the future, especially in a public forum such as this where you can't take them back.
