Hmmm, a $250 mil bounty on Osama didn't do good either...
Not that making parallels to terrorism helps...

Besides, unless the incentive was a wealthy-paying job ($200k/yr), why would anyone do it? Most hackers also unfortunately know what's going on in the IT world. They know workers are hardly given loyalty or respect by their employers. They're seen as disposable commodities that demand their workers be loyal to them. They also know their jobs could go overseas at any time, which hardly makes the workers happy so that in return lowers productivity and a desire to educate themselves. (thanks to offshoring, education has taken a hit and it's all due to corporate greed. $2/hr for an Indian looks better to them than $50/hr so for anyone to peg the problem on the US worker is very sick indeed...)

Besides, why do hackers hack? Retaliation against Microsoft, who has proven itself to be a very sleazy and sloppy company who seems to openly beg for problems at every turn... angry against an unjust 'society' perhaps? Or maybe the hackers are simply evil and malicious just for the fun of it - sometimes they are the problem and not a symptom stemming FROM the problem. But the simply evil lot merely need some zoloft and prozac and they'll be fine. grin
