As customer there is reason to complain
This does not single out Microsoft but small businesses do usually have a better product before being bought up by a larger corporation.

Funny you bring up Pizza but I've known a couple of smaller Pizza places that got bought up by big corporations. The pizza quality suffered big time. Most times you don't even know that some smaller corporation has sold out to another corporation but when quality disappears a quick check usually shows a change of hands in the boardroom somewhere.
