Is there method in Microsoft's security buys?

Message is clear...

My rep has delivered the Microsoft security message over and over again to our controllers: Microsoft is committed to security in numerous ways. Bill Gates himself has announced that security is critical to the success of Microsoft. Trustworthy Computing, .NET and now the purchases of myriad software vendors that were about go out of business anyway just proves it. I always swell up with tears when one of my MCSE's tells the story of how my rep met him outside the test center and commanded him to go back and get his MCSE+Security credentials. 20 minutes later he passed two more tests.

Microsoft software is an impenetrable fortress. I even get lost in our own data centers. Other CIO's in this area that run Linux just stare in amazement at the endless racks I have constructed to house ultra-secure applications like ISA Server. I am off to dinner with my rep so we can review Roberta Bragg's latest Windows security article.
