---You have single CD that you can play in CD player in
your car, computer at home and DVD player in the family
room all at the exact same second in time with one single
retail copy of the CD with out copying it. That's pretty
impressive.---

Obviously, I don't, but this new solution, of selling a single
disc with copy protected AIFF files, and MP3/WMA files on it
that the RIAA is proposing would not allow you to do this
anyway.

---Just because the Recording Labels are gouging
customers doesn't mean publishers should too.---

It's not a question of screwing customers. What's being
addressed here is the Recording Lables screwing
songwriters. All they're asking for is that they get paid
under the terms of their contracts--payment for each copy
of a song sold. The RIAA companies are already woefully
underpaying and ripping off the publishers, this has been
established. I see this as more of a payback from the
publishers, trying to get what they fairly deserve.

---This is stupid and just another reason for me to not buy
music.---

Add it to the long list already there.
