Flying is a whole different subset of engineering
Hence my new analogy. Flying doesnt "fly" with me as a logical comparision to what they are doing. Armor was probably a bad analogy too.

How about: Plugging a security system into an existing car. They have created the plugs and security system, you manufacture the car... easy peasy.
