i disagree
running a secure platform will NOT help stop social engineering. the social engineerign will simply change to adjust for it. it will be more work, but it can as easily work. they send an email attachment, tell said person it's a critical update from OSDL or soemthing, give some techie information tht's totaly off base, then give instructions on how to save the attachment and run it as SU. Bang.. same problem.

New technology will NOT make people more aware. It is simply a choice that they must make (or be forced to make). I like the disconnect people who are broadcasting worms, fromt eh internet theorem. Though, this needs to be beacked with proper education and service people who can help them fix the problem. W/o the later, they will just find and ISP that doesn't have such standards.
