Dang John the technology has already caught on.
Go to a trendy Miami nightclub and they will happily insert an RFID chip in you. That way you don't have to carry money. A couple casinos in Vegas offer the RFID chip also. Many gas/convenient stores are now using a hand held RFID chip not to disimilar to Exxons out speed pass. Many large grocery chains are offering RFID cards to "speed up" your shopping expirience. Hospitals are expiramenting with RFID chips for patients and I have not EVEN begun to list what is proposed and soon to be accepted for criminal released from jail.

The laws are catching on quicker than you know. In 12 states there is proposed legislation to insert RFID chips in child molestors released from jail. The lobbyist ain't calling for the legislation. Joe Public is. It will be just a small leap to force the public.

The PUBLIC is calling for protections in the wake of these identity theft problems we have recently heard about. Ding Ding Ding RFID tags have been bantered around as a menas to cut down the theft.

Careful man the corp lobbyists are bad news but so is a gullible public.
