It's Useless
The fact that these attacks originate overseas makes it practically useless to report any I receive to the FBI, etc. Just last week I was able to trace 1 such attack from the Netherlands (there were two, actually)and another from good ol' Nigeria. I'm even able to get the person, address and in one case, phone number of the sender.

It has been years since this has been going on and it seems none of these countries are interested in doing anything about the problem. Saw a show on TV last night that stated that the famous Nigerian Scams and the money they generate provide up to 30% of gross national product for that company. The rules are on the books but are never enforced; presumably because those in power in Nigeria are themselves benefitting from these crooks.

So what's the use? Funny how countries have their hands out for US aid but won't even cooperate in shutting down these attacks, which are breaking international communication laws. Really makes me mad.
