Firefox marketing site hacked

Glorious day indeed...: Okay. Hmmm. Well, yes the site was hacked...but what does the site have to do with the browser. Are you sure your MCSD friend actually did this or are you telling a story.

I have not problems with saying that programs and OS's all have flaws. But the issue is that some programs and OS have them less in number and far and few.

I have to chuckle because I find it even more amusing the amount of people who try to defend Microsoft with their inadequate views and points as "Glorious day for all" when they have only had true experience on one OS and it's application.

Then they try to insult others when their extent of learning another software and OS like Firefox, Opera, BSD, Linux and such is very little or null.

In fact many of their views are one sided because they can not get past the loading of these programs and operating systems because they are to busy letting Microsoft do the think for them.

Look it's simple... Your lazy, you want something that takes not effort and you know it. Heaven forbid that you actually have to use your brain/mind.

If you truely have the time to investigate something please do, but don't waste our time with mindless chatter that has one side when you haven't fully given other software and operating systems a chance.

As for me, I use Linux, Firefox, Win Xp and Explorer.

I fortunately only use Explorer for those sites that do not allow FireFox.

As far as FireFox - it is more secure then IE in many facets and a cleaner and better running browser.

I still run Win XP for my workstations only because I am a gamer and Linux is not as developed in the gaming arena. Other wise I would probably run completely Linux. (yes I dual boot)

All my personal servers are Linux,Apache,PHP,MYSQL based.

Oh and Microsoft never built their empire off of security or stability. They just built it as fast as they could and sold it giving expectations that they could make up to you later in the game. Unfortuanately more then most people bought in to it and believe it still to this day.

Such is life.
