He didn't expose anything...
Let's get something straight; he didn't expose anything. He got caught snooping where he shouldn't be snooping. Only then did he "expose" the problem. Ask yourself this. If he didn't get caught; would he be so willing to tell anyone of the problems? No, because it was a criminal act and he knew it.

The same goes for the person entering the locked house. He would only be doing you a favor if he said "hey, you left your door unlocked and I walked right in and wondered around; but didn't touch anything". "I thought you should know for your own protection".

Another thing that irks me is his attempt to beat the rap by attempting to not be extradited. He committed a crime and admitted to it. He should accept his punishment. He knew he was committing a crime. There is no such thing as "give and take" in this situation.

Like I said if he made an attempt to contact the Government to address the breach, anonymously or not, then I would think the court should suspend the sentence for being helpful. And maybe then he could stay put; but only under this circumstance.
