Think of all the hours saved by blank passwords.
The government has probably saved a fortune in taxpayer cash by not having to manage passwords on all those devices.

Think of the recordkeeping, think of the errors in those records, think of all the people who would have to type in passwords correctly if there were passwords.

That's at least 6 keystrokes without a typo. I'm not sure I could manage that myself today.

It's the small savings that add up to a major efficiency campaign.

Every little bit helps.
