win98se
Yes win98se is still supported. This is the point exactly. We run win98se on the 30 machines in our office. Works fine. Applications work flawlessly with it. If its not broke why throw it away. To upgrade to WinXP or most inbetween would have required upgrading or new applications.... which cost $$$'s. New OS should contain backward compatibility for many years. Companies and people shouldn't be forced to throw out or upgrade everything each time the main OS writer brings out a new program. Do you buy a new TV or Sound System or Dishwasher if the current one is doing its job just because a newer model comes on the market? God bless the wasteful american consumer. They keep the economy rolling.
