Ok here is some useful info for those of you too lazy to look for yourself.
The Jview issue is only an issue if you have MSJVM installed and made as your default JVM. In case you havent heard MSJVM is obsolete, if you need it to run an application, find a new vendor because the one you use is crap.
go to www.java.com to get an uptodate JVM
go here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/826878 to get the uninstaller for MSJVM
to see if you have MSJVM go here http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=4e38f4f9-ce7e-4271-8836-a7d7293a992f&displaylang=en

the color management thing
1. don't surf the web or use email as administrator, the attack cannot elevate privleges unless it is a blended attack.
2. The worst a worm based on this vuln should be able to do is wipe out all your personal data but should not be able to harm the system. so backup dummy.
3. if you have NX support on your CPU and SP2 for XP, USE IT, it should stop this in its tracks.
4. Forget the first 3, just download the patch and be done with it. Here http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/bulletin/ms05-036.mspx look for the heading "Affected Software:" and choose your OS, if you dont know your OS version click start, then click Run, type in "winver" (no quotes" and hit enter.
