"The SOX was put into effect to make it difficult for firms to COOK the books. There should be ACCOUNTABILITY here. Nobody should be against this, except from people what are cooking currently their books."

Just like nobody should be against the Patriot Act except those who have something to hide? It's fallacious to make such generalizations about government regulations. There are always winners and losers when the government is involved. And only the winners assume everyone must benefit from it.
