But Intel DOES in fact have an obligation to suffer a financial disadvantage. That is simply the cost of being an American company. ... If Intel really wants to outsource, they can move out of the US entirely. Then they will NOT have ANY of the legal protections that being an American company offers.

You want to make it an all or nothing deal, not just for Intel, but for American workers. Either Intel hires all American workers, or it doesn't employ any of them. Great. Throw more Americans out of work. At least with what they're doing now they're still employing some Americans. That's better than none at all. Secondly, you make it more difficult for them to expand here (hire more Americans) if they desire to do so in the near future.
