7,944 pieces of malware and growing.
`` The company reported last week that it had detected 7,944 new pieces of such malware in the first six months of this year--almost 60 percent more than the same time last year.''

It was only a matter of time before the REAL criminal activity will be behind all the crap that flies over the Internet from machine to machine. But what is the HOST platform that fosters this infestation?

``The biggest growth was in Trojan horses, programs that can damage a user's files, steal information, or even create a backdoor that can be used to compromise a PC.'' ''

I see: it is the MS windWoes .....

Thanks MS: you have rightfully gained the Branding of "The S/W Giant in Trashworthy Computing"
