This feature is intended to prevent viruses period! There is no hidden agenda. It has nothing to do with Spyware or DRM. It is not a Microsoft conspiracy to dominate the world. All OS's will have the same access to this feature. I am for one glad that AMD and Intel are offering this extra level of protection. Transmeta get on board!
