I guess I'm not one of the 99.999% of home users
either. I built my computer from the ground up. I couldn't always say this though because I built my 1st computer about 4 yrs ago and i'm ashamed to say I had no clue about security back then. I mean I did the virus scans and cleaned out my temp internet files out reagularly but that about the extent of it, I defragged the harddisc. As far as adware and preventative measures, well my knowledge in those areas left something to be desired. Since then though I've taken it upon myself to educate myself in PC security. This computer doesn't hicup without me knowing it. I'm just tired of using windows and the never ending struggle to defend it is all it's rather tiresome, but you have to do what you have to do.
