this is not the responsibility of any browser to "fix". It is not a flaw but if any finger pointing is needed then point no further than js and the DOM. But I'm sure you'd be more than happy with the world's safest browser due out in a few years that forces you to click about 10 settings per site visited to limit script actions and object handling,etc..
