Here we have a the biggest software vendor in the world, telling people who want to send email to "Hotmail"...

"If you want to send email to hotmail, you must have a sender ID tag"

I don't see it that way. They aren't going to bounce emails that don't have Sender ID. My understanding is they are going to deliver the emails but label them "junk."

If I was a Hotmail user that would annoy me. If I was the originator of an email addressed to a Hotmail account, I wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

The only people who are being "forced" to do anything differently because of this are Hotmail and MSN users, so far as I can tell.
