popups in firefox...
there is one simple reason for this.. and i think you should know that firefox allows requested popups by default and because of this it is new impossible for it to block all popups, it seems you may be commenting from an opera point of view..and opera doesn't get popups beacuse, by default, all popips// or new windows are blocked including those that were requested...#

i think you guys sound a bit like the average home user..you don't seem ot be able to accept the fact that technology isn't perfect in fact nothing is and technolgy is evewn further away from it...

did you know that stack overflow are just as or even more destructive in some ways than actual viruses are.. at this point in time i have tested stack overflows in internet explorer, firefox, netscape, mozilla and opera.. out of all only the mozilla based browser failed to bring the whole operating system down with it when repeated.. intrenet explorer hung the system with seconds, opera took a few more counts in the loop, and firefox, netscape and mozilla went down with the system hanging for a few seconds then returned to normal.. the same is said for web servers..running a simple stack overflow on purpose ofcourse in say php or asp .. over and ovre will sooner rather tahn later bring down the server.that's a fact since i've tested this extensively on my own webserver at home...
