surprising?
I am not sure I follow the story. Zdnet, you need to provide more information. How exactly are spyware companies 'bundling' their software with movies/music?

Sounds more like a load of propaganda put out by the movie/music industry to try and scare people away from Bit Torrent.

Correct me if I am wrong, but it is impossible to imbed spyware etc into movies/music files. I suppose they could always put in their adds at the start of the movie instead! wink

If they are actually 'bundling' stuff with the movie, who is going to bother to install it anyway? For a movie, I would choose the .avi file everytime. If the files are .exe files, then I can understand..... But I have never downloaded any movie file that requires it to be 'installed'.

Somebody please enlighten us!
