Intelligence is not the issue here..
Education doesn't mean $H1T compared to industry experience.

My prior company outsourced all their java based apps to India.

And guess what? The code was crap.

1. Barely any comments thoughout the source.

2. The formatting sucked (why they even bothered to press [return] I am still trying to figure out)

3. The logic was backwards and in some cases the logic was just WRONG!

I ended up spending endless hours fixing their code.

Isn't outsourcing great!

And the worst part of this situation was when I spoke to him on phone. He actually thought that what he turned over to me was good.

The only thing that was missing from his code was DUCT TAPE!
