Hurah for Carly bashing
Finally someone else see's it. If your going to move offshore then don't lie about it and degrade the american worker. What she was really saying is that HP can get 4 or 5 workers for the price of one. As for talent, I have observed that as few as 20-25% of the h1b's brought in had the skills to communicate and complete assignments without spending alot of time, on and off the clock, asking questions of their piers. After a lot of denial about this, I began asking math questions of individuals, and they were exposed. The truth is India probably has no more genius' per capita than the US. They can offer a lot of willing workers at wages which are at a fraction of the cost. So if you can manage the lack of innovative knowledge, then you stand to profit. This begs the question, if we are the biggest market in the world... and you are selling a local product at 7$, then move off shore to build, and so does your competition, and the price goes down to 3$, and the market consumer can't even afford that because they no longer have the job to consume such goods, then what have you profited?????
