- Yes, Windows is riddled with holes
- and exploitable features and flaws, a prime target being such a dominant percentage of internet connected, zombie-ready boxes. As a shot and hit many targets go, it has the percentages that hackers and black hats seek for the most damage and/or effect, so again, Apple's smaller percentage does not present a practical attack base, even without the flaws and coding issues (but there is a fault in saying their are no flaws and/or features to exploit, and a disservice to say so since Apple does release udpates for things other than drivers or the latest greatest code enhancement). In fighting the us vs them thing, it's not good to put up the obscuring screen for the sake of argument. Windows is chock full of spaghetti code holy goodness and has had quite a bit of 3rd party scrutiny to expose such, . . if such scrutiny were paid to Solaris, OS/2, Apple OS, andthe right exploits executed, the question falls, would a reversal in marketshare show equal, lesser or the same damages. I would speculate far less damage, but then, I haven't sifted thru the code and a lot of ppl may not have. Why would they?
