Re: Debian drops ball on security updates
>> ROFLMAO!!! It's only out for a day and it
already has security issues. That is just too
funny. I guess linsux security isn't all its
cracked up to be. Be safe, be secure, harness the
power of *BSD. Oh and linsux is dying, big thank
you's go out to Apple computer for making my
dream a reality. <<

Time to get a life, Loverock? This is not a
security issue(you did read the article?).
Security updates were not turned on by default.
Change part of 1 line in 1 configuration file.
Since most Debian users are accustomed to editing
config files, this is not an issue. Even if that
was not the case, who wants auto-update enabled
by default? This is not a security issue. I am
not saying it can't happen with Debian, but the
fact is that the stable release of Debian is the
most stable and well tested software on the
planet. Microsoft, OSX, and most releases of the
major Linux distros are a slightly different
matter. Worst to best of course being Microsoft,
OSX, Linux, BSD, Solaris
