Debian drops ball on security updates

Hey knuckle head...

Did you read the article? Here let me quote it for you:

""New installations (of Debian 3.1 from CD and DVD) will not get security updates by default," Debian developer Colin Watson wrote in an e-mail warning. Installations from floppy disks or network servers were not affected."

So it's not a security flaw, it's a configuration flaw that doesn't allow the persons installing to get the security updates, which generally happen at the end of an install.

Get a clue rockhead, this could have happened to FreeBSD as well.
